The State Agency of Kosovo Archives is the main institution responsible for the collection, preservation and management of archival materials representing the history and documentary heritage of the Republic of Kosovo. The State Archives Agency of Kosovo maintains and processes historical documentation dating from the Ottoman period to the present day, including documents, registers, acts and other materials valuable for the historical memory of Kosovo.
The activity of the State Agency of Kosovo Archives includes not only the preservation, but also the digitization of archival materials to make them more accessible to researchers and the public. Through digitization, the Archive ensures the long-term preservation and easier distribution of historical materials.
